Torys involved in new cross-border innovation project
Torys is helping launch and facilitate the new U.S.-Canada Innovation Partnership.
The partnership aims to increase the working relationship between the two nations through collaboration on innovation, technology, research and science.
According to the office of the U.S. Consulate General Toronto, the partnership will “foster ideas to develop the workforce of the future, and cultivate a shared values-based approach utilizing policy tools where possible to promote the adoption and acceleration of emerging technologies, innovations, and research.”
Partner Joel Ramsey is a founding member of the partnership and said he was excited to be involved in the project.
“There has never been a better time for the U.S. and Canada to shape their shared future through technology and innovation policy-making. I am delighted to be part of the conversation,” Joel said as a part of the official announcement.
