Andrew’s broad commercial real estate practice includes advising clients in selling and purchasing commercial and industrial real estate; land assembly and development matters; real property due diligence related to M&A transactions; leasing of commercial and industrial real estate; and construction financing. He acts for institutional developers, investors, publicly traded entities (including REITs), pension funds and private equity investors to help them navigate the ever-changing world of real estate.
His sector-specific experience includes advising on a wide range of energy-related real estate matters, including structuring, negotiating and due diligence for wind and solar renewable energy projects; real property due diligence related to the acquisition of pipelines and midstream facilities; and real property matters related to oil sands ownership and development.

As part of his pro bono work, Andrew has acted for a children’s hospital foundation negotiating a funding agreement with a public healthcare provider for the development of a child and youth mental health facility.
