Overview
As managing partner of the LSC, Torys’ centre of excellence for high-volume, recurring corporate legal work, Chris oversees teams that review and negotiate contracts and carry out due diligence, public securities offerings, corporate reorganizations and other corporate law matters for Torys’ clients on an efficient and cost-effective basis. Chris also leads and participates in process improvement initiatives at the LSC and in the firm at large.

Professional Involvement
Chris has developed and presented webinars, seminars, workshops and lectures on financial instruments and other legal topics for Torys’ clients, lawyers and students and for continuing legal education conferences and post-secondary programs.
Chris spent two years in London, UK where he was seconded to the corporate department of an international law firm, and one year at an international law firm in Tokyo, Japan.
Chris serves as chair of the board of directors of IWK Health, Atlantic Canada’s largest healthcare facility dedicated to the care of women, children, youth and families.
