Krista Hill is widely recognized as an industry leader in infrastructure and energy M&A, projects, privatizations and joint ventures/partnerships, both in Canada and internationally.
Krista is the co-head of the Infrastructure and Energy practice. She recently completed two terms on the firm’s Executive Committee and is a founding member of Torys’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.
Krista has deep experience in complex, innovative, first-of-kind transactions and projects. With robust insight into all types of energy projects and infrastructure asset classes, she regularly leads large teams working to advance significant projects and transactions. Krista is also an accomplished lead negotiator and has extensive experience advising multiple stakeholders with respect to their complex projects and transactions.

Krista was an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, where she taught on energy and natural resources law. She is also a member of the University of Toronto Law Alumni Association Council, an organization which provides advice to the Dean of the Law School. Krista was awarded the Arbor Award in 2024, which is the highest honor given by the University of Toronto to its volunteers.
Krista was recently elected as a director of the Canadian Nuclear Association. She is also a director of the Canadian Nuclear Law Organization. Krista served as a director and Chair of The York School, a Canadian Accredited Independent School (CAIS), located in Toronto. She also recently completed two terms as a director of Rainbow Railroad, an organization dedicated to assisting LGBTQI refugees seeking a safe haven in order to escape violence or persecution in their home countries.
Krista frequently speaks at conferences related to M&A, infrastructure and energy.
