Before joining Torys, Morgan was an independent contractor to an industry leader in generative AI for law and discovery review counsel to a Toronto-based boutique eDiscovery practice.

Morgan has volunteered with numerous organizations in the community, including the Canadian Bar Association Legal Futures Subcommittee, the Canadian Bar Association Nova Scotia Branch Women Lawyers Forum, Dalhousie Alumni Association, Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia and Lawyers Without Borders.

Morgan is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, International Bar Association, Canadian International Council and International Association of Privacy Professionals.
