Colette’s practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution, including corporate/commercial disputes, class actions, securities and competition litigation. She has appeared as counsel before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Appeal and Alberta Court of King's Bench.
Colette previously worked as a contracts administrator student for EllisDon on the Ottawa Light Rail Transit Project, a joint venture between Ellis Don, SNC Lavalin and Dragados.
In law school, Colette received the Medal in Law for ranking third-highest in her graduating class and the Dean’s Key for her contributions during her time at Queen’s Law. She also received the highest mark in torts, property, civil procedure, secured transactions, insolvency and business law clinic.
Colette volunteered as an executive team member of Queen’s Corporate Law Club and Queen’s Law Cancer Society. She was President of the Law Students’ Society and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada. Colette also worked as a volunteer caseworker at the Queen’s Business Law Clinic where she provided legal services to local businesses.
