Pearl works as an integrated team member on major projects and transactions to identify new and innovative approaches to serving our clients. With an understanding of established and emerging technologies and industries, such as artificial intelligence and the IoT, she collaborates with clients to develop tailored solutions that meet their needs.
Using her background as counsel to a Canadian stock exchange and as a legal-tech consultant at high-growth technology companies, Pearl brings valuable insights that inform her approach to identifying efficiencies, managing risk and providing recommendations for technology to meet client’s strategic and legal objectives.
She is fluent in Korean.
In law school, Pearl volunteered with the Laws in Action Within Schools (LAWS) program, a high school program that uses legal education as a tool to assist students to succeed in school and become engaged and active citizens. She was also the Osgoode Hall Law School representative for Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC), aiding in the provision of free legal support to people and communities facing barriers to justice.
In the community, Pearl volunteers with numerous community organizations, including Wonder’s Playground, an organization dedicated to inclusive programming for autistic children, and the Yellow Brick House, an organization supporting and empowering abused women and children to rebuild their lives in the community.
