Lauren's work centres on the evolving intersection between artificial intelligence and the law. She collaborates with practice groups across the firm to provide insight on emerging legal issues, including matters related to AI governance, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
Alongside this work, Lauren practices litigation and dispute resolution, with a particular focus on AI, technology, data, constitutional, environmental, and corporate/commercial disputes. A meaningful portion of her practice engages Indigenous matters, including matters related to the duty to consult and accommodate and the resolution of legal issues through negotiation, mediation, and arbitration.
During law school, Lauren was co-founder and co-president of the University of Toronto Philosophy in Law Association and president of the JD/MBA Association. She also worked as a legal research and advocacy assistant for Pro Bono Students Canada, University of Toronto Chapter.
