Dustin Paterson works as an integrated team member on major projects or transactions with a focus on identifying efficiencies in the delivery of our services to clients. He finds new and innovative approaches, including the effective use of legal technologies and the application of legal project management tools. With a degree specializing in law and technology, Dustin knows how technology can create time and cost efficiencies. Among other significant mandates, Dustin uses this expertise to develop easy-to-use, tailored solutions to assist clients with the management of contract portfolios.
Using his background in data science, Dustin also helps clients in analyzing data and trends in contracts, creating reports on market trends and contract provisions that include actionable insights clients can use to optimize both their strategy and approach to contract management.

In law school, Dustin was recognized for the highest achievement in the faculty’s legal technology program.
Prior to entering law school, Dustin worked as a senior research executive and market research consultant, applying quantitative data methodologies to research, analyze and report on market conditions to inform corporate decision-making. This experience informs his approach to reporting on the market trends that directly impact our clients’ operations.
In the community, Dustin sits on the board of directors of the APTUS Treatment Centre for Complex Disabilities, an organization dedicated to providing educational, clinical, residential and other supports to children, teens and adults with developmental disabilities. He also volunteers at Equal Voice Canada, an organization dedicated to achieving greater representation of women in all levels of political office in Canada.
