Marco’s practice focuses on corporate law with an emphasis on private equity, private fund formation and mergers and acquisitions. He has broad experience with private equity fund formation transactions, acting regularly for both private equity fund sponsors, as well as pension plans and other institutional investors in their investments into private equity funds.
In law school, Marco worked as a research assistant in the areas of blockchain, cryptocurrencies and legal data science, and he volunteered as Secretary and VP Finance of the Business Law Society.
Marco was selected as a Dean’s Research and Writing Fellow while studying in Ottawa, and he received the Telfer School Plaque for Highest Achievement in Management during his undergraduate studies.
