Amanda’s practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution in a variety of areas, including intellectual property law, class actions, and public and administrative law. Her experience in intellectual property matters spans patents, copyright, trade secrets, and trademark disputes.
Amanda is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and The Advocates' Society.
During law school, Amanda worked as a legal and policy researcher at a non-profit consortium dedicated to human biology and genomics.
She represented the University of Toronto at the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot (where her team placed first) and the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot (where her team was ranked first in the preliminary international rounds).
Amanda was also the co-founder of the University of Toronto's Legal Hackers chapter, a program that brings together students, lawyers, software developers and business people for critical discussions on innovation in the practice of law.
