Julia's practice focuses on tax law. She has assisted clients on the Canadian tax aspects of public and private M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations and operations of financial institutions.
Julia is fluent in Mandarin.

Recognition and Awards
Julia was awarded the Harold G. Fox Bursary for being one of the top four students in the Class of 2020. She was also awarded the Alvin D. From Memorial Scholarship for the highest standing in the Civil Procedure course.

Professional Involvement
Julia completed a clerkship at the Tax Court of Canada. She is an incoming executive member of the Ontario Bar Association's Taxation Law Section. She is also a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the International Fiscal Association. Julia has published with the Canadian Tax Focus , the International Tax Highlights and the Ontario Bar Association (Taxation Law Section) newsletter.
Julia volunteered on the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyer’s Partnerships Committee in 2023-2024 for the 17th Annual FACL Ontario Conference and Gala.
