Hailey’s practice focuses on corporate and regulatory matters relating to financial institutions. Hailey advises clients on issues pertaining to bank and insurance regulation. Hailey also advises various clients on compliance with Canada’s anti-money laundering, anti-terrorist financing and economic sanctions legislation, in addition to advising financial institutions and retail clients on their consumer protection obligations.
Hailey was previously the Director of Legal Learning at Torys, where she oversaw the design, development and execution of the professional development and continuing legal education programming and initiatives of the firm’s legal professionals across all offices.

Hailey is the chair of the Jewish Professionals Employee Resource Group at Torys.
Hailey mentors underprivileged youth facing systemic barriers to success by volunteering with Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS), and has worked as the Summer Jobs Program Coordinator for LAWS. Hailey has also spearheaded charitable initiatives in support of the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation and the Israel Cancer Research Fund.
