Henry’s practice focuses on intellectual property and regulatory law in the areas of food, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices. Henry advises clients on regulatory compliance and assists clients in developing strategies to efficiently protect, exploit, enforce, and commercialize intellectual property. Henry also has experience assisting with patent prosecution before the Canadian and U.S. Intellectual Property Offices.
Henry is a member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Patents and Industrial Design Committee, an associate member of the Royal Society of Biology, and a member of the Biochemical Society.
Henry previously completed a judicial clerkship with the Honourable Madam Justice Pallotta at the Federal Court. During his clerkship, Henry assisted with patent and trademark cases before the Federal Court, and judicial review proceedings involving a wide variety of administrative law topics.
Before attending law school, Henry was a cardiac researcher at the Hospital for Sick Children. His research focused on cardiac metabolism and microscopy methods development.
